The Bark System
The Bark System takes variables and mixes them with the environment to allow for more dynamic talking points and dialogue. This system was created to meet the needs of developing a more streamlined way to tell a good narrative story through dialogue, allowing it to become far more contextual and aware than what’s possible by streamlining linear lines to the player or story.

Engaging in the World
The most important bit is that the goal had to be focused on one thing – engaging with the world. This is very important as it helps us as players develop a better relationship with the game’s story and, therefore, be better prepared for all challenges and ways of the world. It also allows quicker, better decisions – leading to a better run in their gameplay, possibly one that’s also more memorable.
